Every time you write a new posting for your business blog, add links to social media. In this way, you social media followers will see that there is something exciting happening with your business that they can check out.
If you show a username after the @ symbol, you can make sure that updates from important Twitter posters are shared. Alternatively you can also use this symbol to include their usernames in your tweets. After the person gets a notice that they were mentioned in your tweet, it will be to their advantage to either reply or to turn around and “retweet” it to all of their own followers. Put a share button near the header of your blog entries that allows users to put the information on Facebook. Readers can quickly click and share the post with members of their network. This will exponentially increase the number of potential visitors to your website, and thus increase sales. You should always update your Facebook page with a message indicating that you have written a new blog post and a link back to the blog. This will increase traffic to your blog from your friends and generate the possibility that your friends will share your link on their page as well. Try to stay professional, even in this day and age of social media. You should paint a picture of yourself being personable and divulge certain information, but always make sure you remain professional. If you do not like certain posts, you can delete them, but try to refrain from getting into arguments. Make your own separate, personal profile; this will allow you to have interactions with your personal friends.
